The Future of Education Conference

The Future of Education Conference
Thursday 23rd May 2019, Mercedes Benz World

FULLY BOOKED

In the spirit of looking back while also looking ahead that lies at the heart of the St George’s 150th celebrations, we have brought together there top speakers linked to Education, Future Skills and the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the long term lives of our current students.

We all know that the world of work will change dramatically in the next 30 years.  No one yet knows what these changes are going to be but there are those who have devoted their time to looking ahead.  They therefore have the depth of knowledge to be able at least to make authoritative predictions to support us in preparing our students and giving them the education and strength of character to thrive.

The speakers are:

o Sir Antony Seldon, Vice-Chancellor of The University of Buckingham and one of Britain’s leading contemporary historians, educationalists, commentators and political authors.

o Sir Christopher Ball, a lifelong educationalist and most recently co-author (with Pat Preedy and Kay Sanderson) of Early Childhood Education Redefined.

o Shamus Rae, KMPG’s Head of Digital Disruption and Head of AI Strategy and author of numerous papers on the Future Workplace.

Invitees are current parents, selected local prep and primary school heads and governors, who will join us for a ‘working brunch’ designed to generate the start of a debate.
